I like to think of myself as a vibrator aficionado. I know my way around a sex shop and I have certainly tried my fair share of toys…for review purposes, of course. However, when I received a Hitachi several months back I was expecting it to be overrated. Plenty of people have told me of their experiences, but I just didn’t buy it. I owned a Wahl 7-in-1 at one point and it was decent, especially for the price, but I had others that I liked equally as much. Just knowing the Hitachi is like the Grand Daddy of all vibrators made me want to try it even more.
So, I contacted some friends over at Babeland.com and I nabbed one for review. Come to find out, it would only take one use, for me to fall madly in love with the Hitachi. That was months ago though. I tend to try something out and whether I like it or not at the time, it does not mean that it will last forever. It certainly doesn’t mean that months down the line it will be the favorite toy in my arsenal. So, did the Hitachi hold up?
In an answer…hell yes it did.
In fact, I feel like it kind of ruined me for other sex toys. If I want something powerful, the Hitachi is right where I go. It gets the job done and months later it is still as amazingly powerful as it once was. In the beginning I felt the price was somewhat of a downfall. Babeland currently has the Hitachi with the G-Whiz attachment (which was what I received for review) available for around $85.
Considering how long it has lasted and how indispensable it has become, it is definitely worth that price and probably more. It’s one of my favorite toys from Babeland and I have received a lot of great things from them! Like I said, the only real downside (and I’m not even sure it is a downside) is that it’s easy to get lost in this toy. You may find that you don’t want to use any other toys after this. I still manage to try out my fair share, after all, I have a job to do, but if it’s all about my pleasure (and not about the review) 9 out of 10 times I go back to my trusty Hitachi.
