Early2Bed is a toy shop that I am working with for the first time. They sent over a small shipment of toys, one of which is this ruler that I am reviewing now. I mentioned how interested I was in this ruler and they were nice enough to send me one. Being a girl that can appreciate a good spanking and some fun school–time roleplay, I thought that this ruler would hit all the right spots. What I was surprised to find was that it was much better quality than I was expecting.
The ruler is actually quite thick. It’s definitely not anything you will find as you travel that back to school aisle, looking for school supplies. Instead, what you get is a ruler that is a quarter of an inch thick. Measurements for this bad boy are 12″ x 1 1/2″. The end of the ruler is wrapped in leather for the spanker’s convenience and comfort. The leather wrapping begins after the ruler has surpassed 8 inches.
I was immediately sold by the look of the ruler. In all honesty, for the price, I expected it to be much thinner. Of course, price and look aside, I had no idea how it would feel. I gave it a few playful smacks along my hand to discover that the possibility for quite a sting actually exists. After handing it over to the appropriate party I found out how big of a sting this could provide. The ruler is rigid and offers a sharp bite to each spanking. You can expect some nice marks (or not) if you prefer them.
As a role-play toy it works well. It is easy to drift into that Teacher-student scenario with the right toys in hand. Since this looks just like a ruler, you have the perfect play prop in waiting. This ruler, being anything but ordinary, allows you to step up your play with a much bigger sting. Under the right circumstances you will hear the beautiful sound of a firm ruler against supple flesh creating that smack sound so many of us love. You might even get to hear some moaning and groaning under the right conditions. I suppose that depends on what you’re going for.
